Dr. Buxo was born in Jacksonville, FL and was raised in Puerto Rico. After finishing Medical School in 1984 he completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology in New York and has been practicing in Alexandria, Virginia, since 1994.  He is fluent in English and Spanish.​
